Bandwidth is the whole story here. At 40.1 Gbps and a 2376 MHz pixel clock, this amplifier carries 7680x4320 at 60 Hz with 4:2:0 sampling, or 30 Hz at full 4:4:4, and covers the 5K formats Microsoft Teams rooms rely on. EDID Minder Plus is the quieter but equally important feature: it handles the extra memory blocks that 5K panels and 21:9 displays use to convey their capabilities over both EDID and DisplayID, which is where ordinary distribution amplifiers fall over. Key Minder keeps HDCP 2.3 authenticated on both outputs simultaneously, and if protected content reaches a non-compliant display, a full-screen green field says so immediately rather than leaving an installer guessing.
