Details
Extron DA2 HD 8K AI (part number 60-1870-13) — a one-in, two-out HDMI 2.1 distribution amplifier with an analogue audio input, so a separate stereo source can be embedded onto both HDMI outputs.
Where the AE model breaks audio out, the AI model brings it in. A 5-pole 3.5 mm captive screw input accepts a balanced or unbalanced stereo signal at either +4 dBu or -10 dBV, with 42 dB of gain range available in 1 dB steps and better than 60 dB of common mode rejection at 1 kHz. That signal joins the video on the two HDMI outputs, which is how a room adds program audio from a mixer or wireless receiver to a source that has none. Video handling is identical to the rest of the family: HDMI 2.1 at 40.1 Gbps, a 2376 MHz pixel clock, 8K at 60 Hz, HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and HDCP 2.3.
