Details
Extron CPI 51 (part number 60-2033-01) — a small DC-to-DC cable power injector that adds auxiliary power to select Extron active cables when a source device can't supply enough current on its own.
Some active USB-C and signal-conversion cables need more current than a laptop or source device can provide to fully power an attached peripheral. The CPI 51 taps a separate 12 VDC external supply and injects clean 5 VDC power into the cable run, so the peripheral end of the connection stays powered regardless of what the source device can deliver. Its compact, ruggedized enclosure mounts out of sight with tie wraps or Velcro.
