Extron CPI 51 (part number 60-2033-01) — a small DC-to-DC cable power injector that adds auxiliary power to select Extron active cables when a source device can't supply enough current on its own.

Some active USB-C and signal-conversion cables need more current than a laptop or source device can provide to fully power an attached peripheral. The CPI 51 taps a separate 12 VDC external supply and injects clean 5 VDC power into the cable run, so the peripheral end of the connection stays powered regardless of what the source device can deliver.
