Details
Extron CA 163 LP (part number 42-339-02) — black 8 ohm long throw column array loudspeaker packaged with the two-piece SMK LP CA low-profile wall mount.
The LP build exists for rooms where the speaker has to sit tight against the wall and the seating is raked, so aggressive downward aiming is unnecessary. Sixteen 3 in. (76 mm) paper cone drivers are stacked in a 51.9 in. extruded aluminum column that produces roughly 180° of horizontal coverage but only about 20° vertically at 1 kHz, keeping energy on the audience rather than on hard ceilings and floors. Part 42-339-02 is the single-speaker low impedance configuration in black.

Because the assembly protrudes very little, it is also a sensible pick where architectural review limits how far equipment may stand off a finished wall.
