Details
Extron AXI 22 AT D Plus (part number 60-1947-01) — a single-gang decorator-style Dante wallplate with two XLR microphone inputs on the front and two line outputs on the back.
This is the answer to a specific and expensive problem: running long analog microphone cable from every wall, floor box and lectern back to a rack. Instead, the AXI 22 AT D Plus digitises at the wall. Two XLR inputs accept mic or line signals with switchable 48 V phantom for condenser capsules, the audio is converted at 24-bit and up to 96 kHz, and it leaves over the same Ethernet cable that powers the plate. Two line outputs on the rear bring any two Dante channels back out, either straight into an amplifier or into an optional second decorator plate carrying two XLR outputs for recording or an assistive listening feed. Input gain, output attenuation and phantom power are all set remotely from a DMP Plus Series processor or an IPCP Pro xi control processor.
