Extron 2LC SM P/3 (part number 26-670-03) — 3 metres (9.8 ft) of duplex singlemode fiber, terminated LC to LC and jacketed for plenum installation.

Three metres is the length integrators reach for when the fiber has to leave the rack: cabinet to wall plate, floor box to transport chassis, projector shelf to the nearest patch field. Extron builds the assembly from two glass singlemode fibers, wraps them in aramid yarn for strain relief and finishes each end with an LC connector polished to ultra physical contact. The result behaves the same as the 1 m and 2 m versions optically — the loss budget is dominated by the connectors, not the three metres of glass.
