The Sony UP-D895MD is a high-speed digital black and white thermal printer designed for medical imaging environments including ultrasound, PACS workstations, and mobile cart systems. Printing at 325 dpi with 256 levels of gray, the UP-D895MD (UP D895MD / UPD895MD) produces sharp, diagnostically accurate monochrome images from ultrasound, endoscopy, and other video sources.
Its front-loading paper mechanism simplifies media replacement in tight clinical spaces, and dual USB 1.1 and IEEE 1284 parallel interfaces provide connection flexibility for both modern and legacy imaging systems.
