Free-angle brackets are a liability on a multi-speaker install. Set six speakers by eye and no two end up on the same axis; come back after a knock and none of them can be returned to their original setting. The Yoke Mount removes the guesswork by making the pivot detented: 180° of travel, indexed in 10° steps, so an angle chosen in the first room can be reproduced exactly in every room after it, and a disturbed speaker can be clicked back to where it was. The yoke does not replace the SpeedMount system — it works alongside it, installing in conjunction with the 0° mounting plate that Extron supplies with the SM 26. Mounting position is flexible: vertical or horizontal on a wall, or overhead on a ceiling.
