The XTP DTP 24 is the workhorse twisted pair in Extron's structured AV line. Four unshielded pairs of 24 AWG solid bare copper are wrapped together in an aluminum/Mylar foil and a 55 percent tinned copper braid, giving the cable its SF/UTP designation and its resistance to the electrical noise that lives in a building's cable tray. Extron certifies it to 475 MHz over the full 330 ft (100 m) reach, and independent testing confirms it meets HDBaseT Alliance performance requirements while beating the HDMI error-rate target of fewer than one pixel error per billion at 100 m.
