Details
Extron XTP DTP 22/1000 (part number 22-285-03) — a 1,000 ft non-plenum spool of 22 AWG S/FTP shielded twisted pair cable built for Extron XTP Systems and DTP Systems.
DTP3 raised the bar on what the cable plant has to deliver, and this is the cable Extron built to meet it. Four twisted pairs of 22 AWG solid bare copper are individually shielded, then wrapped again in an aluminum/Mylar foil and 40 percent tinned copper braid — the S/FTP arrangement that keeps an uncompressed 4K/60 4:4:4 signal clean over a full 330 ft (100 m) run. Pair-to-pair skew is held between 8 and 45 ns per 100 m, and every reel is sweep tested from 0.8 MHz to 1 GHz. The gray PVC jacket measures 0.34 in and is rated NEC 800 CM.
