Details
Extron XPA U 2004 FX (part number 60-2026-01) — a four-channel, 200 watt Class D amplifier whose every output is configurable for low-impedance or constant-voltage duty.
Rotary switches on the rear panel set each channel independently to 8 ohm, 4 ohm, 70 V or 100 V, so a single 1U box can drive a low-Z boardroom pair, a 70 V corridor line and a 100 V overflow zone at once. Power is pooled across adjacent channel pairs: leave one channel of a pair unused and the other delivers 400 watts. InstaWake+ brings the amplifier back to full output from auto-standby in under 5 milliseconds, and the fan-cooled aluminium chassis draws air front to rear so it needs no empty rack slot for ventilation.
