Extron WC Pro 160 (part number 60-1804-01) — the base EDID Minder workspace automation controller, designed so a room turns itself on the moment a source is connected.

Rather than watching for people, this controller watches for signal. Plug a laptop into the HDMI input and an active stream tells the unit to wake the display; EDID Minder sits in the middle keeping the source and the sink in agreement about timings so resolutions do not shuffle on every connection. Where an occupancy trigger is preferred, an optional sensor can drive the same behavior. The internal web page picks one control path for the display from Ethernet, RS-232 or IR, and the LinkLicense for WC Pro Control Processor opens Global Configurator Plus and Professional when a room grows past a single display.
