Extron VNM EC 201 (part number 60-1864-01) — an updated VN-Matrix enterprise controller that adds local HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA troubleshooting video output to the enterprise-controller platform.

Like its predecessor, VNM EC 201 groups VN-Matrix devices for bulk configuration and firmware distribution, and builds streaming and recording presets that external control systems can recall. Where it differs is at the panel: a built-in Intel HD graphics chip drives HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA output so a technician can attach a monitor directly to the controller for troubleshooting, and rear-panel USB 3.0 joins USB 2.0 for faster peripheral connections. Running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4, it draws a typical 16 watts and dissipates 35.1 BTU/hr.
