Details
Details
Extron VNE 250 (part number 60-1274-01) — the encoder half of the VN-Matrix 250 series, compressing an RGBHV/RGsB or HDMI/DVI source into a Pure3 CODEC stream for distribution over standard IP infrastructure.
VNE 250 accepts either an analog RGBHV/RGsB input or an HDMI/DVI digital input, each with an actively buffered loop-through so the local display keeps showing the source at full resolution while the network gets the compressed feed. Program audio comes in through an analog stereo input with loop-through or de-embedded from HDMI, and a return audio output path carries talkback-style audio back from the decode side. A dedicated streaming LAN keeps compressed video traffic separate from a second control LAN used for configuration and management.
Key Capabilities
- Encodes RGBHV/RGsB analog or HDMI/DVI digital sources up to 2048x1080
- Actively buffered analog and digital loop-through outputs at the source
- 35 ms nominal latency (70 ms encode/decode round trip) with Pure3 CODEC
- Adjustable bit rate from 1 to 270 Mbps for network bandwidth control
- Analog and HDMI-embedded audio input plus a return audio output path
Where It Is Used
VNE 250 is deployed at the source end of command and control centers, operations rooms, and video wall systems, converting a workstation's analog or digital output into a Pure3 stream that any paired VND 250 decoder can display over the network.
