Once a receiver or small device is bolted to a VM 100 base plate behind a display, the exposed circuit board and connectors are still a liability in a serviceable install. The VM 100 C snaps over that assembly to close it in, so the only thing visible behind the screen is a clean steel shell rather than bare electronics. It mounts onto the same VESA MIS-D 75 mm and 100 mm pattern as the rest of the VM 100 family, and the whole assembly - mounting plate, product plate and cover - is rated to a combined 5 lbs.
