This is the one-piece version of the same idea: instead of a pigtail plus a separate DisplayPort lead, the whole run is a single cable with a USB-C plug at the source and a DisplayPort plug at the display. Six feet reaches from a table or credenza to a nearby monitor or input plate. It carries 8.91 Gbps across up to four DisplayPort lanes, enough for 4K at 30 Hz, and passes EDID, HDCP and audio so the display negotiates properly.
