Extron TLA 3 (part number 70-1254-32) is an adapter mount that lets integrators upgrade an existing wall touchpanel to a TLP Pro 725M or TLP Pro 1025M without patching drywall or swapping the back box.

The TLA 3 slots into the existing opening left by a TLP 1000MV or TLP Pro 1020M and adapts it to accept the newer TLP mounting plate. It works with either a preexisting BB 1000M back box or a bare drywall cutout, using rotating back bars and locking screws to seat itself in the opening. Four included bumpers pack out drywall thinner than 5/8 in. (16 mm), and six built-in magnets hold the finished touchpanel flush once it is placed against the frame. Note that the TLP Pro 525M uses a different mounting plate and is not compatible with the TLA 3.
