Extron TLA 2 (part number 70-1254-23) is an adapter mount that lets integrators upgrade an existing wall touchpanel to a TLP Pro 725M or TLP Pro 1025M without patching drywall or swapping the back box.

Where a room already has a TLP 710MV, TLP Pro 720M, or TLP Pro 1022M cutout, the TLA 2 adapts that opening to accept the current TLP mounting plate. It fits a preexisting BB 710M back box or a bare drywall hole using rotating back bars and locking screws, with four included bumpers for drywall thinner than 5/8 in. (16 mm). Six built-in magnets then hold the finished touchpanel flush against the frame. Note that the TLP Pro 525M uses a different mounting plate and is not compatible with the TLA 2.
