Standard USB switchers force devices to re-enumerate on every change, which can drop mice, tablets, or annotation devices mid-session. The SW4 USB Plus adds an optional emulation mode that continuously mimics host and keyboard/mouse communication inside the switcher, so connected peripherals see a stable link even while inputs change.
