Extron STK 1 (part number 70-1255-01) is an 18 in. (457 mm) security tether that deters theft of a wall-mounted TouchLink Pro touchpanel.

The STK 1 is a length of wire with pre-crimped loops at each end. One loop anchors to an internal wall stud with a self-drilling screw and washer; the tether then passes through an Extron RWM 1 or RWM 2 recessed wall mount before the touchpanel is installed. The other loop hooks over a set screw at the bottom of the touchpanel, tightened with the included spanner-head bit. Beyond deterring theft, the tether relieves strain on the Ethernet cable during install and service, and can help prevent damage if the panel is dropped while being serviced.
