A column array is a directional device, and in most rooms the wall you can fix it to is not square to the audience you need to cover. The SMK PT CA answers that with a genuine two-axis head: 130° of pan swings the array horizontally off the wall plane, and 15° of tilt drops the pattern onto the seating. That is a far wider working envelope than the low-profile SMK LP CA, which trades the pan axis for a flatter installed profile. This is Extron's replacement mount for the CA Series, fabricated entirely in steel, and one technician can hang it — the CA Series T-slot lets the speaker height be corrected after the plate is anchored rather than requiring the holes to be redrilled. One mount per kit, which is what a single CA Series speaker takes.
