Extron SMK P SM 26/28 (part number 70-978-03) — white pivot mount kit, supplied as a pair, for the SM 26 and SM 28 SpeedMount surface mount speakers.

This is the white-finish variant of Extron's pivot mount, matched to the white SM 26 and SM 28 cabinets so the assembly disappears against a light wall or a painted ceiling deck. Mechanically it does what the black 70-978-02 does: the speaker rotates a full 360° on the mount and the pivot tilts it off the mounting plane, so the direction the speaker faces is decoupled from the surface it is fixed to. That matters when structure, sightlines or conduit routes dictate the mounting point. Installation is split cleanly between trades — cable is landed on the mount's integral contacts at rough-in, and the speaker slides on later, connecting and locking in a single step.
