Extron SMB 112 (part number 70-1097-02, black) — a two-gang surface mount box that carries a pair of US gang-size wallplates on top of the furniture.

Two gangs is the size most rooms actually need: one plate for video and audio connectivity, a second for control or network. The SMB 112 holds both above the work surface in a metal enclosure whose 115 degree front face angles the connectors toward the user. No cut-out is required in the table, which makes it the practical option for leased rooms, hard-surface tops and refurbishment work.
