The Extron SMA-1 (70-747-01) is a compact swivel mount adapter that lets a flat-surface-mounted touchpanel rotate up to ±180° from its installed position. It is constructed of durable steel and measures just 0.7" H x 3.0" in diameter, adding minimal bulk to whatever surface it is mounted on.

A touchpanel fixed permanently to a table or lectern top cannot be angled toward different users during a meeting, forcing everyone to crowd around a single fixed position or reach awkwardly across the surface. The SMA-1 solves this with a low-profile swivel base that installers secure to the surface with #8 wood screws or #10 machine screws through its two mounting holes, letting the touchpanel pivot freely once mounted.
