The SM 26T is the transformer-equipped sibling of the SM 26, adding a six-position power tap selector that stays reachable through the grille after the speaker is installed, so a technician can set 70V, 100V, or straight 8 ohm operation without pulling the enclosure off the wall. The same SpeedMount system splits installation into two steps: a low-voltage contractor wires the mounting plate during rough-in, then the AV contractor slides the speaker into place later.
