Extron RSF 123 (part number 60-190-20) — 1U Rack Shelf Kit for 3.5-inch deep products, supplied with three blanking faceplates.

The RSF 123 is the complete version of Extron's shallow rack shelf. The tray is one rack unit high and 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) deep, and it will take four quarter-rack-width Extron products or eight eighth-rack-width products side by side across the 17.5-inch usable span. What separates the kit from the plain RSB 123 is what comes with it: three false faceplates, one each in eighth-, quarter- and half-rack width, so whatever combination of devices you fit, the leftover openings can be closed off and the rack front reads as one continuous panel. Products fasten to the tray from underneath using the hardware in the box. The shelf alone weighs about 0.5 kg without the faceplates.
