Nine and a half inches of tray in a single rack unit makes this the workhorse of Extron's basic shelf range. It accepts any practical mix of 1U half-rack, quarter-rack and eighth-rack width Extron products across its 17.5-inch usable span, and each one is bolted down from below with the screws Extron includes. The shelf itself is steel, powder-coated in the standard Extron gray so it disappears into a rack of matching hardware. This is the basic version rather than the RSU 129 kit, so blanking faceplates are not in the box — order RFF Series plates if you need the unused positions covered.
