Small Extron interfaces, converters and distribution amplifiers are not full-width devices, so getting them into a 19-inch rack means giving them a floor to sit on. The RSB 123 is that floor: a single rack unit deep enough for 3.5-inch products, able to carry four quarter-rack-width units or eight eighth-rack-width units alongside each other. Devices bolt down through the shelf from underneath with the screws supplied in the box, and the shelf itself fastens into the rack rails. It is the stripped-back version of the RSF 123 kit, so blanking faceplates are not part of this package; add RFF Series plates separately if you want the empty positions covered.
