Extron Retractor XL Mini DisplayPort-DisplayPort (part number 70-1066-18) — the extended-travel Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort retractor. Extron has retired this part number.

The XL enclosure is taller than the standard Retractor and stores enough cable for a 5 foot (152 cm) pull, which is what deep tables and tiered seating need. One continuous assembly runs from a male latching DisplayPort under the surface to a male Mini DisplayPort connector on top. Nothing plugs together in the middle, so there is no adapter to lose and no coupler to introduce a marginal connection.
