Presentation sources that output VGA almost always need an audio path as well, and running two separate retractors for one laptop wastes an enclosure bay. This module bundles both: the tabletop end is a male 15-pin HD connector with an 8 inch male 3.5 mm stereo audio pigtail attached, so the presenter makes two connections from one cable.
