Extron Retractor USB-C - HDMI (part number 70-1065-51) — a retractable adapter cable that lets a USB-C laptop drive an HDMI display directly from the table.

Rooms are full of HDMI displays and full of laptops that no longer have an HDMI port. Rather than leave a dongle at every seat to be lost, this module builds the conversion into the cable itself: a male USB-C connector on the tabletop end and a male HDMI type A on the equipment end, stored on the Retractor Series variable-speed mechanism. The source must support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Extron supplies connector labels so users can tell an AV-capable USB-C cable from a charge-only one.

Huddle and conference tables serving mixed laptop fleets, university active-learning rooms, training suites and clinical conference spaces where the display infrastructure is HDMI and the sources are not. It removes the dongle from the workflow entirely.
