Extron Retractor Mini DisplayPort-HDMI (part number 70-1065-44) — Extron's 4K-rated Mini DisplayPort to HDMI retractor, stored inside a Cable Cubby enclosure.

This is the current 4K version of the Mini DisplayPort to HDMI module; Extron has retired the earlier 70-1065-19. The conversion is built into the cable, so a Mini DisplayPort source reaches an HDMI display with nothing loose on the table. A user pulls out the length the seat needs, the mechanism locks it, and a press of the release button winds it back at a rate the integrator dialled in at commissioning.

• Speed control offers more than 50 steps between 1.5 and 4.0 seconds.
• Tested past 7,500 cycles with three years parts and labor covering the preinstalled cable.

Where It Is Used

Conference and classroom tables serving workstations and older Mac hardware, engineering benches, imaging and visualisation rooms, and training spaces where the display estate has standardised on HDMI. Vertical, horizontal and 30-degree angular mounting are all supported beneath the furniture.
