Extron Retractor HDMI (part number 70-1065-04) — a spring-loaded HDMI cable module that hides three feet of cable inside a Cable Cubby enclosure until someone needs it.

Loose HDMI cables on a conference table get yanked, kinked and lost. This module fixes that by anchoring one continuous HDMI run inside the furniture. A user pulls out only as much cable as the reach demands, and the mechanism locks it there — no clip, no velcro, no coiling. Pressing the release button draws the cable back into the enclosure under controlled tension, so the connector returns to the same resting position every time.

• Extends a continuous HDMI cable up to 3 feet (90 cm) above the work surface and locks at any point along that travel.
• Carries HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.1a signalling with a maximum video data rate of 10.2 Gbps, or 3.4 Gbps per color.

Boardroom and huddle-room tables, university lecterns and active-learning classrooms, courtroom counsel tables, and clinical review rooms where a laptop connection has to be available on demand but invisible the rest of the day. Vertical, horizontal and 30-degree angular mounting orientations are all supported beneath the furniture.
