Each Quick LC connector arrives pre-polished with an internal pre-cleaved fiber stub and index-matching gel already installed, so a technician can terminate a run of Extron multimode fiber cable in the field without a splice kit or polishing puck. A spring-loaded wedge clip snaps closed to confirm a successful termination when checked with a Visual Fault Locator, and each connector can be reused up to two times if a termination needs to be redone.
