Extron PowerCage 401 FOX DT HD SM (part number 70-1092-12) — a hot-swappable, single-slot singlemode fiber transmitter built for the PowerCage 401 enclosure.
This dual-transmitter module puts two independent HDMI-over-fiber links on one card, letting integrators pack up to eight separate extension paths into a single 1U rack space. Each transmitter digitizes HDMI video with embedded or analog stereo audio and an RS-232 data channel, then sends the combined signal out over industry-standard LC fiber connectors rated for very long singlemode runs. Because the PowerCage 401 enclosure supplies power, cooling, and network management centrally, swapping a transmitter card takes seconds and never interrupts the rest of the chassis.
