Extron NF 4C LP-1 (part number 60-2056-13) — a single PoE-powered 4 in ceiling speaker with a built-in four-channel amplifier, Dante/AES67 audio transport and onboard DSP.

One network cable does everything here: it carries the Dante stream and the power. Inside the back can sits a Class D amplifier with four output channels, so one NF 4C LP-1 can also drive up to three passive NF 4C S LP speakers wired from its captive-screw outputs. Output scales with the class of PoE presented — the unit recognises 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt and sets its ceiling accordingly, from 92 dB up to 94 dB SPL at one metre when running on its own. The DSP block adds a 4x4 mix matrix plus gain, filtering, dynamics and delay on each output.
