Extron MVX 44 VGA A (part number 60-635-21) is a four-input, four-output VGA and stereo audio matrix switcher built for rooms where any computer source has to reach any display on demand.
Rather than running separate video and audio distribution paths, the MVX 44 VGA A consolidates both into a single 1U chassis. Any of the four 15-pin HD inputs can be routed to any of the four outputs, and the stereo audio channel can either follow the video switch or break away independently — useful when a presenter needs program audio held on one zone while the projector changes sources. With 350 MHz (-3 dB) of bandwidth under full load, the switcher carries VGA through UXGA resolutions without the softening that shows up on lesser matrices at long cable runs.
