Extron HDMIF-DVIDM (part number 26-616-01) — a compact molded adapter presenting an HDMI female socket at one end and a DVI-D male plug at the other.

Use this one when the cable in hand is HDMI and the port on the equipment is a DVI-D female socket. The male DVI-D end carries its own thumb screws, so it locks directly into a display, projector or capture card rather than relying on friction. Inside, gold-plated contacts carry the full single link payload: digital video, digital audio, EDID, hot plug detect, CEC and HDCP. The shell is moulded with a black matte finish that disappears behind a panel.
