Extron HDMIF-DVIDF (part number 26-618-01) — a compact molded adapter with an HDMI female connector on one end and a DVI-D female connector on the other.

Two cables, two different connectors, one job. This adapter joins an HDMI cable to a DVI-D cable so a set-top box, graphics card or other source can drive a flat panel display or data projector without an active converter in between. Both ends are female, which makes it the right part when the existing cables both terminate in male plugs. The DVI-D side carries threaded inserts that accept thumb screws, so the joint stays put once it is dressed into a rack or behind a display.
