Details
Extron HC 402 (part number 42-285-02) — the black decorator-style wallplate build of Extron's compact transmitter-and-receiver collaboration system.
Functionally this is the same system as its white counterpart, finished in black for darker millwork and lectern faces. An HCT 101 D plate accepts one HDMI source where the presenter sits; an HCR 102 half-rack receiver near the display handles scaling and drives the screen. The two link over a single shielded CATx run that also delivers power to the plate, so no mains supply is required inside the wall box. A further HDMI connector on the receiver is available for a fixed room source such as a wireless collaboration gateway.

Where It Is Used
Dark-finish boardrooms, huddle spaces, lecture podiums, training rooms and clinical conference areas where the wallplate should disappear into the surface. The receiver hides under the table on its pre-attached MBU 125 brackets or sits behind the display using an optional rack shelf.
