Extron FOX3 I/O 88 MM (part number 70-1107-01) — the multimode 8x8 fiber optic I/O board used to build or expand Extron FOX3 Matrix 40x, 80x, 160x, 320x, 560x, and 840x switchers.

Every FOX3 Matrix frame from the 40x through the 840x is assembled from these individual 8-in by 8-out I/O boards, and this is the multimode version, carrying 8 multimode SFPs behind 16 LC connectors. Integrators add boards to grow a matrix from its base configuration toward its maximum size, or swap one in as a hot-swappable replacement for a failed board, without powering down the frame or interrupting signal routing on the remaining boards.
