Extron FOX R USB Extender Plus HID MM (part number 60-1526-21) — the multimode fiber receiver half of Extron's secure long-haul USB extension pair.

This unit lands at the operator end of a FOX USB Extender Plus link. Working opposite a matching FOX T HID transmitter, it presents connected peripherals to the distant host as if they were plugged straight into it. Traffic crosses a duplex LC multimode span at a 600 Mbps line rate, carrying USB 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0 hardware as well as USB 3.0 devices willing to negotiate down to 480 Mbps. Because this is the HID build, the receiver also polices which classes of device the system will accept.
