An HSA 822 that has to feed from a permanent branch circuit cannot keep its removable power cord. Extron's answer is this plate, cut to the 822's rear opening: pull the IEC inlet, fit the adapter, and the electrician has a threaded landing for conduit and a set of conductors to terminate at a distribution box. Nothing about the enclosure's mounting footprint changes. The kit conforms with UL 2043 for heat and smoke release, which is what clears it for the enclosed airflow spaces inspectors treat as plenum.
