Extron FF 220T (part number 42-141-03) — a pair of 2' x 2' drop-in ceiling speakers for US suspended grids, with 70 V/100 V transformers built in.
This is the square, US-grid member of Extron's Flat Field ceiling line. Its patented driver loading works against the beaming that makes a conventional ceiling speaker loud directly below and thin a few seats away, so levels stay comparable across the room. Paired with a 170° conical pattern, that behaviour lets a designer cover a low-ceiling space using fewer boxes and fewer amplifier channels. The enclosure is just 3.25" deep, which matters when duct work and structure crowd the plenum.
