Extron EWB 103 (part number 60-454-02) — black three-gang external wall box from the original EWB run, now a retired Extron part number.

The EWB 103 exists so that a three-gang Extron faceplate can be installed on a wall that has no back box and cannot be opened. Its steel shell fastens to the wall face and delivers 2.50 inches of clear internal depth, which is what keeps connector bodies and cable slack from fighting the plate when it is screwed down. End knockouts mate with surface raceway; a rear opening handles cable coming out of the cavity. A PEM #6-32 grounding insert and screw are supplied.
