Extron EWB 103 (part number 60-1163-03) — the white three-gang member of the EWB Series, built to carry Extron wallplates on the surface of an interior wall.

Not every room can be opened up for a recessed back box. The EWB 103 removes that requirement: it fastens to the wall face and offers a three-gang aperture with 2.50 inches of depth behind it, which is what a populated faceplate actually needs once connector bodies and slack cable are accounted for. Cable enters through knockouts sized for surface raceway, or straight from the cavity behind. The rear panel carries a PEM #6-32 grounding insert and a grounding screw is supplied.
