Decorator-style openings are the electrical trade's standard, which is exactly why AV keeps ending up in them. The DWP 101 is Extron's answer for the single-module case: one gang, one opening, one decorator-style module, mounted to a wall, an enclosure or any other flat surface. Because the mud ring is in the box, the plate can be fitted to drywall without a back box, which is usually what decides whether a late-stage AV outlet is a five-minute job or a plastering call-out. The black finish suits dark wall panelling, lecterns and equipment enclosures.
