Twelve feet is the longest length Extron builds in this series using the lighter 24 AWG construction, and it is the point where the conductors are still silver-coated tinned copper rather than the plain tinned copper used on the 25 ft and longer reels. The practical effect is a thinner, more manageable cable — 0.45 in across, bending to 4.50 in — that still carries a full dual link DVI-D signal at up to 10.2 Gbps and 2560 x 1600 at 60 Hz. Skew is held to 300 ps intrapair and 2.4 ns interpair per 10 m.
