Extron DVI DA8 Plus (part number 60-933-21) — an eight output DVI distribution amplifier with EDID Minder, in a 1U full-rack metal enclosure with mounting brackets supplied.

This is the widest fan-out in the DVI DA Plus family, and it is built so that the eighth display looks the same as the first. The input is equalized before anything else happens, recovering roughly 100 feet of Extron DVI Pro cable carrying 1920x1200 at 8-bit colour. The signal is then retimed and reshaped, and a clean regenerated copy is sent to each of the eight DVI-I outputs. Meanwhile EDID Minder keeps the source talking to a stable EDID, which is what prevents the familiar failure mode where a PC boots to the wrong timing because a display was off. Every output also supplies +5 VDC at 250 mA for downstream in-line devices.
