Extron DVI DA8 Plus (part number 60-933-01) — the eight output member of the DVI DA Plus family, a 1U full-rack DVI distribution amplifier with EDID Minder and rack brackets included.

Eight sinks on one DVI source is the point at which passive splitting stops being an option. This amplifier equalizes the incoming run first, compensating for as much as 100 feet of Extron DVI Pro cable at 1920x1200 with 8-bit colour, then retimes and reshapes the stream so that every one of the eight outputs receives a regenerated, low-jitter copy rather than a progressively degraded one. EDID Minder handles the other half of the problem, presenting a consistent EDID to the source so it initialises at the right timing and does not renegotiate when a display is powered down. Each output carries +5 VDC at 250 mA for in-line peripherals.
